Forum on Trauma Services in Georgia Part II

AYSPS hosts Forum on "Trauma Services in Georgia: Building an Effective and Efficient Trauma Care Network"

On August 6, the Andrew Young School, together with the Public Performance & Management Group (PPM), hosted the second of three forums on trauma care in Georgia.

The audience included policy makers as well as practitioners from the public and private sectors.  The topic of this second session addressed the issue of building an effective and efficient trauma care network based on the Institute of Medicine’s goals of coordination and regionalization.

The forum was opened by remarks and a welcome from David Sjoquist, Director of Domestic Programs and the Fiscal Research Center.  Speakers included Dan Miears, Mary Beachley, and Jerry Overton.  After their presentations, the speakers participated in a panel discussion moderated by Glenn Landers of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies.
