Forum on Trauma Services in Georgia Part III

The Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University hosted the third part of the Trauma Care Forum series on October 21, 2008, from 7-9:30 a.m. in Atlanta at 14 Marietta Street North West, 7th floor.

This session focused on the issue of creating an accountable and sustainable network in Georgia. The topics included determining potential revenue sources and criteria for allocating available funds. In addition, the forum covered how to identify and disseminate information to foster accountability in institutions, providers and the system as a whole.

A white paper on these topics was presented by two Georgia State faculty members, Dr. James Marton and Dr. Patricia Ketsche. Along with the speakers, a  panel of legislators and other policy makers discussed the implications for Georgia.
