- Barry Hirsch, Professor of Economics and W.J. Usery Chair of the American Workplace, is an expert on American labor issues. He discusses the issues facing the Big Three automakers in the current economic environment. The U.S. automakers are pressing for a bailout in the face of bankruptcy. (11/13/08)
- Paula Stephan, Professor Emerita of Economics, focuses her research on the careers of scientists and engineers, among other topics. But she also conducts a seminar on credit cards for Georgia State undergraduates, covering the ins and outs of paying with plastic. (08/21/08)
- Inas Rashad, Assistant Professor of Economics, centers much of her research around the rapid acceleration in the obesity rate in the United States, and in finding causes and solutions for the epidemic. Her research also found out something interesting -- taller Americans earn more! (04/24/08)
