Regents Professor Publishes New Book
Roy Bahl, Regents Professor of Economics and Founding Dean of the Andrew Young School, has recently published his third book; "Decentralization Policies in Asian Development" (with Shinichi Ichimura). "Decentralization Policies in Asian Development" draws on Bahl's international consulting experience with the International Monetary Fund, the Asian Development Bank, the U.S. Agency for International Development, the United Nations and the World Bank to explore the important topic of fiscal decentralization in Asian countries and focus on how government finance and administration are being reformed to bring budgetary decisions closer to voters.
