Honors Day 2009

The thirteenth annual Andrew Young School of Policy Studies Honors Award Ceremony was held on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at the Georgia State University Student Center Ballroom.   Over 250 honorees and their guests attended the event, which was coordinated by the Office of Academic Assistance.

A reception began the evening, offering students, guests and faculty the opportunity to socialize outside of the classroom.  After being seated, attendees enjoyed a performance by the University Singers. Dinner followed, and Dean Robert E. Moore opened the evening's proceedings.

John V. Winters, an economics doctoral student, was the first student speaker and was followed by Marcais L. Frazier, an undergraduate in the PMAP department.

Associate Dean Mary Beth Walker presented the awards and offered concluding remarks.
