Karen Ubell is a visiting lecturer in the areas of law and public and nonprofit administration.  She received her juris doctor, with honors, in 2006 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.  She received her B.A. in public policy in 2003 from the Sanford Institute of Public Policy at Duke University.  Prior to joining AYSPS, Ms. Ubell practiced law with a large law firm in Atlanta representing public and private companies in mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions with a specialization in public company corporate governance and securities compliance and reporting.
