Frost has taught courses in mathematical economics, environmental economics, and principles of economics. Her primary research involves environmental economics. Frost's dissertation in economics analyzes the effects of liability laws on the interstate shipments of hazardous waste, and examines economic incentives for the encouragement of the reduction of generation hazardous materials. Her research interests include congestion and pollution issues related to transportation.
