ECON 6030: Introduction to Mathematics for EconomistsThis course provides an introduction to mathematical techniques frequently used in economic analysis. Topics include differential and integral calculus, and matrix algebra. Emphasis is placed on the application of mathematics to topics in economic theory, such as profit maximization, utility maximization and output determination. This course is a MUST for anyone planning to pursue graduate work in economics. (3 credit hours) Prerequisites: Math 1111, Econ 2105, Econ 2106 or consent of instructor.
