ECON 8030: Mathematics for Economists

This course covers the elements of mathematical analysis, classical optimization techniques (Lagrange technique), and linear and nonlinear programming, with applications to economics, particularly comparative statistics. (3 credit hours)

Prerequisite: Econ 6030.
