ECON 9880: International Monetary EconomicsManagement of the international monetary system has taken center stage in the last few years. This class will study a variety of aspects of that system. Topics include exchange rate determination and currency crises, the choice of an exchange rate regime, stabilization policy, history of the international monetary arrangements, and the organization and role of the IMF and the World Bank.
