PAUS 4061: Microeconomics for Public Policy

The purpose of this course is to introduce principles of microeconomics to students for use when analyzing public policy for effective public administration and planning. The course will consider concepts of microeconomic principles including market failure, public goods, supply and demand, pricing and externalities. These concepts will be presented using practical examples involving the public sector. (3 credit hours)

Prerequisites: Econ 2105, Econ 2106
