PAUS 8171: Public Management Systems and Strategies

This course focuses on developing useful tools for the daily and on-going management of public and non-profit organizations. In this course you will learn the "how-to" of strategic planning, quality management, performance measurement, benchmarking, and other techniques. The purpose of this course is to help you to develop skills that will strengthen your effectiveness in general line management functions, including planning, implementation, control, and evaluation. (3 credit hours)

Prerequisites: PAUS 8111 and PAUS 8121.
