The School uses self-managed applications. This means that in addition
to this application, it is your responsibility to collect all required
materials other than test scores and submit them at one time to the Office
of Academic Assistance (OAA). You will be sent a notice acknowledging
receipt of the completed application packet.

Online application and $50 application fee (must be paid online in order for us to receive the application).

Two official copies of transcripts in sealed envelopes from each college or university attended (See the Transcript Request Form.)
Official scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE)
Three letters of reference. (See the Request for Confidential Letter of Reference Form, 2 pages, pdf format)
- As part of the online application, you will be asked to complete a Biographical Statement and a Statement of Interest. These must be included in the online application. You may cut and paste these into the space provided if you so desire.
Special Instructions for International Applicants:
- Two copies of each of the following are required:
1. Transcripts - Official Native Language Transcript AND Official Translation of the Native Language Transcript if transcript is not in English
2. Degree Documents - Official Native Language Degree Document AND Official Translation of the Native Language Degree Document. NOTE: Degree documents must be provided for all degrees awarded unless the award appears on the official transcript.
- Official TOEFL score - this must be submitted directly to Georgia State University by Educational Testing Service (ETS). Paper copies are not acceptable.
- As part of the online application (Part 3), you will be asked to complete the Non-Citizen's Form. On this form you will provide information required for issuance of a visa. At the point of admission, you must also provide certified documentation showing that you have funds sufficient to support yourself for one full year.
