Graduate Admissions - Masters, Certificates, Non-degree & Transient

    Application deadlines: Fall Semester - April 1*; Spring Semester - October 1

    * February 15 is the priority deadline for master's applications if you are applying for a Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA)

    • Doctoral Admissions - Ph.D. in Economics

    Application deadline: Fall Semester - February 15*

    *Please note this is an earlier deadline than previous years.  There is no separate deadline for a Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) application. All applicants to the doctoral program will be considered for a GRA.

    • Doctoral Admissions - Ph.D. in Public Policy

    This is a joint degree offered by Georgia State and Georgia Institute of Technology. Applicants must complete the joint online application form:

    Application deadline: Fall Semester - February 1*

    *There is no separate deadline for a Graduate Research Assistantship (GRA) application. All applicants to the doctoral program will be considered for a GRA.

     

    • Graduate Re-entry Application

    This application should only be used for: Graduate students who wish to reenter their program of study after a period of non-enrollment, alumni graduate students who wish to return and take courses for personal enrichment and graduate students who are required to reenter due to non compliance with the university's continuous enrollment policy.  *Undergraduate reenty students should submit an undergraduate reentry application.

    Reentry applicants should submit the following:

  • Graduate Reentry Application. This form should be returned to the Office of Academic Assistance.
  • $25 application fee. This must accompany the Graduate Reentry Application. Personal checks, money orders and cashiers checks are accepted. Cash and credit card payments are NOT accepted.
  • Transcripts from any institution of higher learning attended since last date of attendance at Georgia State University.
