The forum was opened by remarks and a welcome from James Alm, Dean. Speakers included Arthur Kellerman, MD, a nationally recognized trauma expert from the Emory School of Medicine; Patrick O'Neal, director of the state's Office of Preparedness; Ben Hinson, a member of the Trauma Services Network Commission and president of Mid Georgia Ambulance; and Tom Bell, CEO of Cousins Properties.
