The
Public Administration and Urban Studies Department Lecture Series continues
on Thursday, April 14, 2005, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the Smart Seminar
Room on the 7th floor of the AYSPS building, located at 14 Marietta Street,
NW.
Dr. Don Kettl, Stanley I. Sheerr Endowed Term Professor
in the Social Sciences, Professor of Political Science at the University
of Pennsylvania, Director of the Fels Institute of Public Affairs, and
Senior Fellow at the Brookings Institution, will be presenting "The
Next Government of the United States."
Dr. Kettl has written over 20 books on various government-related topics,
including:
- The Next Government of the United States (in progress).
- The Global Public Management Revolution: A Report on the Transformation
of Governance (2nd edition, 2005).
- The Politics of the Administrative Process, revised edition,
with James W. Fesler (3rd edition, 2005).
- The Department of Homeland Security's First Year: A Report Card
(2004).
- System under Stress: Homeland Security and American Politics
(2004).
- Team Bush: Leadership Lessons from the Bush White House (2003).
