The Andrew Young School was pleased to host a discussion on the economic growth and business development of Atlanta, featuring John Portman, Charlie Loudermilk, and Andrew Young.
John C. Portman, Jr., FAIA, is recognized throughout the world for his innovative design, pioneering the role of architect as developer. He is best known for his urban mixed-use complexes, and was key in the establishment of Atlanta as a major convention center. R. Charles Loudermilk, Sr., is CEO and founder of Aaron Rents, Inc., and has served on several Atlanta boards that promote good development in the city. The Honorable Andrew Young is a longtime public leader both in Atlanta and around the world.
