Inventory Taxes (John Matthews).  There is current interest in exempting all business inventories from property taxation in Georgia, both at the local and state level. The Georgia Chamber of Commerce has adopted as a priority the exemption of the entire value of business inventories from taxation in Georgia.  FRC Report 136 (December 2006)
