Welcome to the Fiscal Research Center
The Fiscal Research Center provides nonpartisan research, technical assistance and education in the evaluation and design of state and local fiscal and economic policy, including both tax and expenditure issues. Its research examines tax policy and reform, education finance, urban policy and economic development, among other issues.
Recent FRC Activities
- The Fiscal Research Center is hosting a conference on the property tax on September 11, 2008. The conference offers an opportunity to learn more about how the property tax works in Georgia and about assessment limitations and level caps.
