Jane Branscomb – Research Associate

Jane Branscomb is a research associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center. She provides project coordination, secondary research, writing and other support to various programs of the Center. Recent projects include facilitating a work group in the revision of Georgia’s statewide cancer plan; assisting in a study of the literature on root causes of health disparities in the rural Southeast; and assessing the capacities and needs of public health institutes across the US.
Jane’s prior experience includes development and executive leadership in the nonprofit sector. She has particular interest in applying systems thinking and communication skills toward eliminating barriers to health and creating conditions conducive to health equity.
