Perspectives on Health Reform: Science, Fiction, and Fantasy

Presented by the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University

Date: Monday, November 30, 2009

Time: 1:00 – 3:30 p.m.

Location: 7th Floor Seminar Room, Andrew Young School Building, 14 Marietta Street, NW.

At this historic time for our country, health reform is on everyone’s radar. How do you sift through the fact and fiction?  Who will reform efforts impact? How much will it cost? With all that lies in the “great unknown,” the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies presents a discussion about key elements of federal health reform efforts from the perspective of various educational disciplines.

Join us for an informative and interactive discussion about the facts, myths, and key components of health reform.  Hear from experts on how potential health reform proposals might impact health equity, who pays, and who is likely to benefit from reform. Learn more about the role of prevention in reform efforts, how financing drives delivery, and how small, medium and large employers may be affected.

This event is free and open to all Georgia State faculty, staff, and students.
