Mei Zhou - Data Analyst

Mei is a research associate at the Georgia Health Policy Center. She is experienced with large data sets, especially Medicaid claims data analysis. Since joining the center in 2003, Mei has conducted data analysis for a variety of projects. The projects she has worked on include the Long-Term Care Partnership - a research project that analyzed the costs and outcomes of Georgia Medicaid’s nursing facility program and four home- and community-based services programs, the evaluation of Georgia’s Children’s Health Insurance Program, the evaluation of Georgia Oral Health Prevention Program, the Member and Provider Satisfaction Surveys for Georgia Medicaid and PeachCare Claims Services, the Georgia’s Foster Care System project, and the CAHPS Surveys for Georgia’s PeachCare and Medicaid Programs.

Her current projects include an evaluation of the health care safety net in seven metropolitan Atlanta counties, performing the data analysis for the State Coverage Initiative project granted by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Georgia Department of Community Health, and an evaluation of Georgia’s Disease Management program. Before joining the Center, Mei worked for the Georgia Department of Community Health.
