·  credit infrastructure.

Magomet Batchaev holds a Ph.D in Economics from Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia, Moscow. He is an Associate Professor of Economics at the Department of Accounting, Analysis & Audit of Karachay-Cherkessian State University, Russian Federation, where he teaches Public Finance, Financial Management, Money & Banking, Taxation and other allied disciplines.   His research interests focuses on fiscal and monetary policy issues, rural finance and credit infrastructure.

During his stay at Georgia State University, he plans to conduct research on Taxes and Economic Growth in Developed Economies (with special emphasis on the U.S.) and its applicability to Russian Federation.
