Stephanie Suazo is originally from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Tampa, Florida. Stephanie began the doctoral program in Economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, concentrating in Public Finance, in fall 2007.
As a graduate research assistant in the International Studies Program she is contributing to several projects, including fiscal decentralization in Peru and tax reform projects in both Turkey and Pakistan. Her research interests are in Public Finance and Development.
