Adult residents of Georgia say that the state flag debate should be the
least urgent matter facing the Georgia legislature, according to surveys
concluded in early February. In the Winter 2003 Georgia State Poll, only
2.3 percent of adults believe that changing the state flag was a top priority
for elected officials. Charlotte Steeh can discuss the findings in detail,
404-651-3539, and the complete polling data is available online.
