Eligibility
MA, MPA, MPA/JD, MSUPS, MPP, and Ph.D. graduate students who expect to complete their degree during the current academic year are eligible to be nominated by either the PMAP or Economics department (you must complete your degree in either December 2009, May 2010 or August 201). To be eligible for placement with a Federal agency through the PMF Program, applicants must successfully complete all graduate degree requirements including any thesis or dissertation if so required by the applicant's college or university by no later than August 2010. Each month during the academic year the PMAP department and PPM (Public Performance and Management Group) will present a monthly dialogue workshop on topics related to the difference concentrations offered in our degree programs, or other topics of interest. These dialogues are meant to be just that – a chance for students to dialogue with experts in the field, visiting alumni who are interested in mentoring students through what they have learned, or perhaps faculty who might offer unique insight into their research. For workshop times and days, visit our events calendar.
Resumix!
Get your resume reviewed by PMAP alumni.

The Department of Public Management & Policy partners on occassion with local agencies, employers and nonprofit agencies who are interested in providing our students with opportunities to share a day with a leading executive or manager within their exemplar organization. These "Shadow Days" are rare networking opportunities to meet with individuals deep within a hiring organization, that normal networking channels do not provide access to. Students are expected to serve as representatives of the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and stewards of the mission of the Department of Public Management & Policy. These opportunities will be announced through your GSU student email account as they present themselves throughout the year.
