Eric Watts is a research associate I at the Georgia Health Policy Center (GHPC). He is a licensed master social worker and brings expertise in the areas of clinical assessment of individuals with persistent, severe mental illness. At GHPC, Watts works with the Center of Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health and is responsible for assisting with workforce development and program evaluation for the Georgia Beck Initiative.
Current projects include a partnership with the Aaron T. Beck Psychopathology Center at the University of Pennsylvania, the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities in Georgia, and GHPC to train local clinicians in how to use recovery-oriented cognitive therapy with patients who have schizophrenia.
