Justina Jose is a fifth- year doctoral candidate in public policy. Her current research interests broadly fall within the field of public financial management with a focus on state and local fiscal governance in the United States and India. Her areas of research include fiscal federalism, debt management, subnational capital markets and fiscal policy. She is also actively involved in inter-disciplinary research with environment and technology policy researchers to examine the role of public finance in climate policy and broadband access. Prior to this, Justina received her M.Sc. in Economics from Symbiosis School of Economics (India) in 2017 and her B.A. in Economics from Stella Maris College, University of Madras (India) in 2015.
