Qiaozhen Liu is a fifth-year doctoral student in the Department of Public Management and Policy. He holds a master’s degree in Arts Administration from Indiana University Bloomington. During his graduate studies, he interned at the National Museum of American History in Washington D.C.. With his original research interests in cultural and arts policies, he soon realized that there are limited changes he can bring without understanding public policy in general. Now, he focuses his research on nonprofit sector and hopes to explore international affairs in developing counties in the future. Before came to the U.S., he studied music in college in China and received several awards with the school choir.
