Nazareno, Luisa
Luísa Nazareno is a fifth-year Ph.D. student of Public Policy. Her research interests include labor market developments and the emergence of new employment arrangements and their effects on different populations. Luísa is also interested in the role of new technologies in reshaping urban environments and individuals’ lives, as well as on urban and regional development and inequalities. Her research focuses on Brazil, the United States, and Latin America.
Prior to this, Luísa worked as Project Coordinator at the Japan International Cooperation Agency in Brazil, in charge of urban development projects across the country in various areas, including water and sanitation, transportation, and energy. From 2012-2016, she worked as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Applied Economic Research, Brazil. Both experiences were crucial in shaping her current research interests.
Education-wise, Luísa studied at the University of Brasília (Brazil) from 2007 to 2016, earning a Master of Development degree, a B.A in Economics, and a B.A in International Relations.
