Danye Medhin is a PhD student in Georgia State University’s Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology. He received both his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Science from North Carolina Central University in Durham, North Carolina in 2014 and 2016 respectively. His research agenda centers on the selective enforcement of US drug law. He maintains a special interest in racial and ethnic disparities in US cannabis law enforcement amidst a shifting cannabis legalization landscape.
