Odibo, Seun
Seun Odibo is a first-year PhD student of Public Policy in Public Management and Policy Program at the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. His primary research interests are in public finance, with a special focus on infrastructure financing and public finance management and a regional focus on Sub-Saharan Africa and the United States. He is a member of the research team at the Infrastructure Finance and Policy Lab (iFPL), founded and led by Dr Can Chen, who is also his advisor.
Before joining the program, Seun worked as an Economist/Data Analyst for A2F Consulting in Rockville, Maryland. Here, he led the analysis and report-writing on a Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) funded-project to assess the Public Financial Management Malawi City Councils and the Ministry of Lands Housing and Urban Development. He also supported the design, launch, and virtual management of the implementation of a Poverty and Sustainable Land Management Survey in Argentina on behalf of the World Bank. He earned a M.A. in Economic Policy Analysis and a BSc in Financial Economics from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
