Thaddeus Johnson is a Criminal Justice and Criminology Ph.D. student. Following his career in law enforcement, he received his bachelor’s degree (2014) and Master’s degree (2016) in Criminal Justice at the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga. Reflective of his interest in juvenile deliquency and education, Thaddeus’ thesis was entitled “Mitigating Delinquency through Academic Intervention: An Empirical Test of Social Control Theory”. His research interests include juvenile delinquency, policing, and the etiology of urban violence.
