- Biography
Amma Boakye is a research associate I at the Georgia Health Policy Center. Her research interests are in global health, chronic disease prevention, and health policy. Boakye is working with the Center of Excellence for Children’s Behavioral Health and the Population and Global Health teams. Her areas of expertise are in quantitative and qualitative research, program evaluation, and policy.
Boakye assists the Center of Excellence with the implementation of the System of Care State Plan. For the Population and Global Health team, Boakye provides technical assistance, evaluation, and data analysis assistance support on The Carter Center’s Public Health Training Initiative in Sudan and Nigeria.
Additionally, Boakye has worked on a community needs health assessment for WellStar Healthy System and provides meeting design and facilitation expertise to the Georgia Cancer Control Consortium.
