- Biography
Annette Pope coordinates the Georgia Health Policy Center’s proposal development and strategic-planning processes. She is also responsible for managing administrative and human resource functions including staff development and training.
Pope has expertise in nonprofit management, program development and implementation, project management, fund development, regional planning, and health policy. Her greatest interest is on issues that disproportionately impact at-risk and underserved populations in the areas of housing, homelessness, youth development, and health.
She uses her expertise and experience to guide the center’s internal operations. Pope also provides leadership for several of the center’s partnerships including Communities Joined in Action, a national membership organization of nearly 150 community health collaboratives, and the Pathways Community HUB Certification Program, an evidence-based model of care coordination that works to reduce health disparities among high-risk populations.
