Brittany Goodrum is the Administrative Specialist for the Criminal Justice and Criminology department at Georgia State University. Brittany graduated with Honors from Mercer University in 2018 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Sociology. This Ohio Native, and Forever Buckeye, served 8 years in the United States Army Reserves as an Automated Logistical Specialist. During her time in the military, Brittany was able to work with a wide variety of foreign militaries providing humanitarian civic assistance with Task Force Larimar; a joint military exercise in which U.S. Military and partnering nations provided medical, dental, and engineering support to the Dominican Republic in 2014. Brittany has been volunteering at the Gateway Center in Atlanta, GA since 2019 and has been trained in Basic Substance Abuse Counseling, to help better serve the metro Atlanta Community. Brittany has recently become a member of the World Affairs Council of Atlanta Young Leaders initiative, where she will continue to grow personally and professionally by connecting with young leaders around the world to network and help develop community relationships around the globe.
