Assistant Dean for Finance, CFO Dean's Office- Biography
As Assistant Dean for Finance and Chief Financial Officer, Denise Jenkins has overall responsibility of financial operations for the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, including the direction for and implementation of annual operating budgets. She is responsible for developing and administrating policies and procedures for the Andrew Young School pertaining to finance, budget, and grant administration. The assistant dean for finance serves as the college liaison with central university units to ensure the Andrew Young School processes are in accordance with state, federal, and Georgia State University regulations, policies, and guidelines.
Jenkins formerly served as college finance officer for the College of Education and Human Development as well as a budget analyst in the Office of Budget & Planning.
Jenkins has a Master of Public Administration degree in management and finance from the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and a bachelor’s degree in accounting and management from the Robinson College of Business.
