Glen Ishoy
Visiting Instructor Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology- Biography
Glen Ishoy serves as a Visiting Instructor in the Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology at Georgia State University. Ishoy received his Bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Utah in 1994 and a Master’s degree in Criminology from the University of West Georgia in 2012. His Master’s thesis was titled “Measuring the Impact of Parenting Practices on the Development of Self-Control in Children: A Meta-Analysis.” Glen worked as a police officer for nine years and is now pursuing a PhD in Criminal Justice/Criminology at GSU. His research interests include policing, criminal justice ethics, and criminological theory.
