Associate Director, IT Department of Economics, Experimental Economics Center- Biography
Kevin Ackaramongkolrotn is the associate director of IT at Experimental Economics Center. He has managed the Experimental Laboratory since 2000. He is also involved in designing and developing experimental economics software in various research areas such as public goods and common pool resources, tax compliance, game theory, risk aversion, pollutions trading, incentive compatibility of payoff mechanisms for choice under risk, isomorphic centipede games and Dutch auctions, the effects of market institutions on tax incidence, etc. He has served the role of technology consultant for several real-word research projects such as the Georgia EPD’s Flint River Drought Protection Act Auctions and collaborative research with Emory University Hospital on improving hospital discharge decision-making.
Kevin Ackaramongkolrotn holds a M.S. in Computer Information System and MBA in Finance and E-commerce from Georgia State University.
