- Biography
Lisa McGarrie is a senior research associate with the Georgia Health Policy Center’s Community Health Systems Development team. Her interests include health and behavioral health care access, health care system delivery reform and integration, and program development and implementation.
McGarrie has specialized experience in behavioral health care systems, including financing, policy development, and evaluation of community-based behavioral health interventions across a variety of implementation settings. She also brings expertise across continuums of community-based care that serve children, youth and immigrants.
At the center, she provides technical assistance to grantees of the Health Resources and Services Administration’s Federal Office of Rural Health Policy, the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute’s Pipeline to Proposal awardees, and the Georgia Apex Project, funded by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. In her role, she assists grantees with activities such as program and partnership development, evaluation design, and sustainability planning.
