Neven Valev’s research interests include macroeconomic stabilization policy and international capital flows. He has written scholarly articles on international lending by banks, inflationary expectations and inflation convergence under a currency board system, and financial liberalization and crises. Valev teaches international finance and open-economy macroeconomics. He also lectures on macroeconomics and foreign direct investment.
