- Biography
Dr. Nicole Lynch is an Associate Professor in the Health Professions Department at GSU Perimeter College. Her career has been devoted to promoting physical activity and healthy living through teaching and research. She teaches courses in Kinesiology and Health as well as two Perspectives courses on the topics of 1) physical activity & public health and 2) longevity and well-being from cultures in the Blue Zones. Her research interests include encouraging physical activity to reduce health disparities and studying the effects of physical activity on aging and chronic diseases.
Dr. Lynch completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the University of Maryland and School of Medicine and Baltimore VA Medical Center and a Pre-doctoral Fellowship with the Baltimore Longitudinal Study of Aging. She is a certified Exercise Physiologist with the American College of Sports Medicine.
